The storm earlier in the week brought 2 to 4 inches of wet snow above 9000 feet only. The storm today is generating the cold, dry powder that we know and love! Snow fell all day. By 3:00 pm 6 inches of fresh powder had accumulated and it’s still coming down!
The Buford Road was plowed this afternoon.
Todd Kupka and Tod Tibbetts machine packed the fresh snow. Once trails were packed, Todd K broke in the new Ski-Doo with the ginzugroomer (see photo below) and groomed the trails.
With temps in the mid-teens the trail surface is fluffy and soft. Get out and enjoy the powder this weekend!
