Spring snow conditions!

Friday, March 29

Flat light and snow flurries on the West Elk trails today. High 20s at the trailhead. Odin offers some contrast and  perspective in the photos.

Aaron Mattix groomed trails on Thursday and today.

Variable Spring snow conditions! The snow is hard and fast when cold. When the temps rise above freezing the snow softens up. The hills are freaky fast when the snow is cold. Feel free to remove skis and walk down the hills to avoid falling and/or injury.

Enjoy groomed trails through Sunday, April 7, thanks to donations from trail users!
