Lots of folks out enjoying the foot and a half of new snow on the West Elk trails.

Aaron Mattix, Bruce Kime and Art Dahl worked hard all day packing, shoveling and grooming the trails for everyone’s enjoyment. Hwy 819, Kay’s Loop and Zeus’s Cutoff were packed and then groomed with the ginzugroomer. They packed Eric’s Loop with snowmobiles.

Thanks so much guys!

Eric’s Loop is always a special challenge in deep snow. Check out these photos.

First they open up the trail with snowmobiles.

Then Bruce’s Bridge needs to be shoveled to keep the snowmobiles and ginzugroomer from sliding off the trails.

Finally Eric’s Loop is ready for skiers to enjoy the fabulous snow conditions!
