The grooming crew was busy today snowmobile packing Hwy 819 and Kay’s Loop.  With only around 18″ of fresh snow, ruts in the road have not filled in.  Also in sunny areas, the snow is thin.

Areas where there are no road ruts, the trail smoothed out nicely.  The temps have been cool enough so the snow surface is still soft.  With the weather forecast for sunny and mild over the next week or so, there will be bare spots showing and the surface might get icy early in the day.  Early season conditions exist so beware of hazards on the trail.

We need another foot of snow to bring the ginzugroomer up on the trails.  We are still $ 1,000 short of getting the new grooming sled on the trail to pull the ginzugroomer.  If you enjoy groomed trails, please donate now.
