Fresh Snow and Sunshine – It doesn’t Get Much Better Than This

It looks like the trail received about a foot of new snow this week.  There was high moisture content in the snow so early Saturday, the snow was a bit sticky in the sun.  Bruce Kime shoveled the drift areas on Hwy 189 and then Edgar Davidson and Tod Tibbetts ran the grooming snowmobiles around all the trails, Hwy 819, Kay’s Loop and Eric’s Loop.  The temps today were around 30 degrees and no wind, but plenty of sunshine.  It’s still bright at 4:30, which makes a last afternoon ski possible.  There will be one grooming snowmobile on the trail tomorrow to finish smoothing the trail.   The forecast for tomorrow is not as sunny, but still mild temps. Enjoy the fresh snow and warmer weather.
