Entrance_12_25_12      Merry Christmas

Fresh powder on the trails and more on the way

About 6 inches of new snow fell overnight on the trails. There has been a good amount of skier and snowshoer traffic on Hwy 819 and some all the way around Kay’s Loop so the trails are in decent shape.  The Weather Man is forcasting more snow later in the week.  If we can get a group of volunteer groomers together we hope to pack the trails again on the weekend.

For those of you that enjoy the challenge of untracked trails, Eric’s Loop has only been skied once and that was last Saturday and there is at least 6″ of fresh powder.

James’ Loop was snowshoed on last Saturday as well.

This weekend, if you are interested in helping pack trails, shovel a couple problem areas, or putting out a few more stakes, give Tod Tibbetts a call at 970-876-2196.
