Happy Valentine’s Day!

From Peggy —

Anthony made it around Eric’s Loop on Saturday with the Ginzugroomer. All the ski trails are nicely groomed until the next snowfall, which should be Thursday.

Donations needed for snowmobile repairs

The grooming team has not been able to make a sledding hill because the powder sleds — snowmobiles that can break through deep snow — are temporarily out of commission. Eric’s powder sled is in the shop. Anthony’s powder sled will be going in for repairs this week. Keeping the trails in such great condition is hard on the snowmobiles.  Snowmobile engine repairs are costly.  Your dollar donations are needed to keep our snowmobiles running. Please send you donations to:

Volunteers needed

Snow shovel work needs to be done in several areas on Eric’s Loop.  It’s not heavy shovel work and we won’t ask for more than a half hour of your time. It’s more like scraping the snow off the trail to make it as level as possible for the Ginzugroomer. The Ginzugroomer is heavy and has a tendency to slide off the trail in areas where the trail is not level. In order to make Anthony’s job safer and create a better trail surface, the grooming team shovels the snow in certain areas to level the trail. Trail work is usually done on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. If you can help, please call Peggy Tibbetts at 876-2196, or email: peggyt@siltnet.net
