All good things …

must come to an end.

The grooming team reports they will be wrapping up the season next Saturday, March 27. Trail marking stakes will be pulled and they will be moving the Ginzugroomer to summer storage. However the trails will be groomed through that last weekend of March. And if we get a heavy snowfall in early April, one of them will probably run the snowmobile around the trails.

Your feedback on the grooming program this year is appreciated. Just use the comments section of this blog.

We are truly grateful to Head Groomer Anthony Benham, and groomers Tod Tibbetts, Eric Boley, and Dan Becker for donating their time and energy to create our primo trail conditions this year. Thanks guys!

Please mark your calendars for June 5, 2010, National Trails Day. WEMUC members will be working with Kyle Grambley from the White River National Forest, Rifle Ranger District to do clearing and brush cutting on the Mansfield Trail. We need volunteers from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. If you can help please email Peggy Tibbetts at: peggyt@siltnet.net
